Colors of the Rainbow Tag - Lily

Hi guys!

Daaruum did it, missglamorazzi did it, Jasmine did it, so now it's finally my turn to bring you my version. Let's get right into it!

Red: Imagine you're invited to a masquerade. Your sensual lace dress in black fits your new black pumps perfectly. Smokey eyes, nude lips, a beautiful mask. Hair is curled and in loose side braid. For a pop of color, you put on... a red nail polish. At least that's what I would do :D.
My favourite and only red nail polish, called "Color So Hot It Berns", was part of the Swiss Collection by OPI in Fall 2010. I got this August 2012 in a Sephora in Paris and have been loving it since then. It's opaque, doesn't streak, doesn't chip. I love it!

Orange: My pick-me-up product for when I'm not having enough sleep is my Clinique powder blush in 102 Innocent Peach. I know it's not exactly orange, but peach is kinda orange, right? ^^ Anyways, this blusher has nice pigmentation, it's longlasting and the powder is finely milled. It doesn't accentuate my pores, I didn't experience any break outs, what do I want more from a blusher?

Yellow: Grasse - the world's capital of perfume. If you read the novel "Perfume" by Patrick Süßkind you know what I'm talking about. That's where I got this little treasure (Accroche Coeur by Galimard). I am a lover of gourmet scent and this one so does fit my taste. It smells of cinnamon, gingerbread and vanilla, which is like christmas to me. So every winter I take it out of my vanity table and enjoy the smell of a christmas fair. Even though it's an eau de parfum (so long-lasting) and 50ml, I got this for 25€. Such a bargain!

Green: Water spinach, also known as water morning glory or kangkong, is my favourite vegetable for ever and ever and ever. I love it cooked, steamed, pan fried, as a salad. I love it in its every single way of dish. The taste is really hard to describe (tastes nothing like spinach) and the consistency is a little bit tougher. If you want to fall in love as well, run to your next asia shop. Sadly, it costs quite a fortune for a little bit of water spinach here in Germany :(.

Blue: I didn't know until today that I have so many blue products. Out of my blue collection, I want to present you my little secret weapon against pimple war: Clearasil's Rapid Action Acute Pimple Gel... I suppose hehe. Anyways, everytime I feel a new pimple spy trying to rise above, I get this weapon, fire the gel on the spot and one day later it's ready to squeeze or gone. Fantastic and cheap!

Indigo: First I have to admit, that I had to google Indigo. You know it's some sort of blue and somewhere in my memories I can think of a book that's called something Indigo, but I didn't really know how indigo looks like. Thanks to this tag, I do now. Moving on, these pretty sandals I bought at Primark (shame on me, but it's so cheap) for 9€. I don't think it's going to last until next year, but for this summer it's enough and it's so beautiful. Got lots of compliments for them :D.

Violet: When the sales assistant at my local Douglas store wanted to apply a violet, lilac, berry lip gloss I was seriously freaked. I thought I would look like a corpse found in water or just really ugly. Surprisingly, it has become my favourite lipgloss color (Plumtini by bareMinerals). The blue shimmer particles make my teeth look white and who doesn't that? It's slightly sticky, but lasts up to 4h, which is quite good for a lipgloss. Another plus point is the scent. It smells like caramel bonbons to me *-*.

That's it. I did it. I finished my first post and this tag. I really hope you enjoy reading our blog and keep coming back ;). See you again next week!

Sayonara,
Lily <3
